Hello, I’m Mikaela.

As a therapist, my focus is on creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. I specialize in working with adults over 18, both individuals and couples.

I utilize a humanistic and strength-based approach, upholding a fundamental belief in the human capacity for healing and growth. My approach is eclectic, drawing upon multiple modalities to address clients’ needs. No matter the difficulty, therapy can help interrupt unhelpful patterns and support desired changes.

When I’m not working with clients, I prioritize self-care and balance in my personal life. I enjoy being outside, being in community, and resting at home. On an active day I prioritize moving my body through outdoor adventures or Brazilian jiu jitsu grappling. On a quiet day at home, you can find me enjoying crochet, reading, or playing video games as a way to escape from the stresses of the day. Ultimately, I believe that self-care is about finding what brings you joy and recharging your batteries in a way that works for you.

My goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive space where you can work through your challenges and emerge feeling stronger and more resilient, whether that’s as an individual or as a couple. If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey towards healing and growth, I’m here to walk with you.

My dog’s name is Fern and she is the Mini Aussie in the featured photo. She loves being a hooligan on adventures as much as being a potato in bed. She keeps me company in my home office and will make the occasional cameo.
